WORDS HEAL, INC.
The Sadie Peterson Delaney Literary Collaborative
Words Heal, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to increase the number of literary works which reflect the experiences of people of color, people of faith, the aged and the differently-abled. Our purpose is to promote the use of literature to improve mental and physiological health outcomes, as a complement to traditional therapies and treatments (bibliotherapy).
We are scouting for storytellers, aged 50+ and/or caregivers, to share stories from the challenges of growing older. The Elder Diaries: Healing Stores from the Crises of Aging podcast series will offer inspiration, practical resources and information to encourage positive aging experiences. Find out what it the series is about and apply to become a narrator!
